For his part, Salem Mohammed Ali Al-Maksah, Director of the Public Works and Agriculture Department in Fujairah, affirmed that the department continued to provide its essential services with high efficiency throughout the crisis. This was achieved by ensuring the continuity of infrastructure work, road maintenance, and the monitoring of public facilities, all according to flexible operational plans that took into account the requirements and circumstances of the situation.

He explained that the field and technical teams continued to perform their duties without interruption, in constant coordination with the relevant authorities, thus contributing to enhancing public safety and maintaining the stability of vital services in the emirate.

Al-Maksah pointed out that these efforts are in line with the principles of the “Proud of the UAE” campaign, which reflected the spirit of national commitment and shared responsibility during times of challenge. The campaign carried inspiring national messages that embodied the strength of social cohesion and affirmed that the UAE, with the wisdom of its leadership, the solidarity of its institutions, and the awareness of its society, is capable of overcoming crises with confidence and strength.
